Queer Valley
​Stone Branch Center for the Arts invites LGBTQA2S+ artists living and working in the Shenandoah Valley to submit artwork for a show by queer artists in the community. This show will coincide with Front Royal’s celebration of Pride during the month of July 2025. ​​

Call for LGBTQA2S+ artists living and creating in the Shenandoah Valley to submit artwork. All mediums welcome. All work should be appropriate to be viewed by all ages. If you have any questions, please ask when submitting your application.

Submit up to 5 images of current artwork (and website if applicable).

Submission should be work the artist intends to show. No substitutions, please.

List the medium, the size of the piece, and price for each submission.

Please submit brief artist bio and artist statement.

Timeline:

Submit artwork April 28 - June 15

June 15 last day for submissions

June 22 artists notified
-
June 23-30 Drop off artwork to be installed for show

July 1 Show opens

July 11 Gallery reception + meet the artists

July 31 pick up artwork (or have previously arranged return shipping)

Exhibition Dates: July 1-31, 2025

All accepted work must be delivered to the gallery by June 30, 2025.

All work must be delivered ready to be installed (labeled on the back, with hangers if the work is 2D, ready to hang on the wall).

All work must be picked up by July 31, 2025, or the artist must have previously arranged for return shipping.
