Ekphrasis Writing Workshop

Service Description

Ekphrasis, the use of a detailed description of art as a literary device, has been used by authors for centuries. Join us for this session in one of our three galleries for a special writing workshop. We will use the pieces on display for our Ritual and Ruins Exhibition as inspiration for writing. We will focus on open prose and poetry and ways you can bring your impressions to the page. Please bring your journal and something to write with or a laptop. This program is open to adults and teens 14+
