About the Event
Great opportunity for those with an interest in relief print making. Learn the basics of reduction printing where the artist uses one block to create a layered landscape or composition of choice. Students will learn to mix and apply ink, to create a unique composition, and will carve and print their design using a variety of woodcarving tools and printing presses. Students will leave the course with a foundation in printmaking in general as well as the unique process of reduction printing. Students will make an edition of 6 prints over the 1 day course.
About Jennifer Dunbar:
Jennifer was born and raised in Michigan and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an Emphasis in Printmaking from Grand Valley State University.
