Service Description

Experiment with collage, drawing, and paint as you layer materials to create bold, textured works of art. This series encourages play and discovery while building confidence with mixed techniques. Students will create simple collages using paper scraps and magazines, focusing on composition and contrast. then strengthen compositions by adding drawing elements on top of collage using colored pencils, charcoal, or pastels. We will continue our experimentation by layering collages with diluted acrylic washes and india ink. Utilizing all these techniques we will pull together a small finished collage-painting that feels layered and complete.
